You Know I Can't Do That?

I went to the office happily, thinking about what Jason told me. He wants to go on a vacation with me not with Rachel but aren't they supposed to be a couple and I am just one person like that? I was doing my thing at the office when Joe knocked the door slightly and came in.

"Val," he called.

I turned black and smiled at him.

"You seem so happy," he said to me.

"Hi Joe," I said, not replying to what he said, being that I didn't want him to know that Jason and I are already on good terms.

Joe knows about our family dispute and I'm sure he wouldn't be happy with my decision.

"What's up with you? Did you get a promotion behind my back," he asked looking at me suspiciously.
