I noticed a subtle change in my friend. The hidden looks he gives to Orla are not so obvious to everyone around, but I know him like the back of my hand, and I can see he is interested.
After testing the tractors, we pushed them up to the pick-up truck at my dad's farm. Dad took the truck to the festivities, while I took a small car he had spared. We arrived at the park where the event is held year after year.
This year was a complete carnival, with a Ferris Wheel and carousel. The racetrack was ready, with the hay stacks piled up at the corners of the sharp turns to help avoid an accident.
People walked around lazily… Kids held balloons up in the air, some others ate cotton candy… Food stalls were installed everywhere, and people were having a really good time arou……
