Theo stood in the tower, his body trembling, groans escaping his lips as he struggled to suppress the primal urge that clawed at him. The heat was relentless, an all-consuming fire coursing through his veins. Time and again, the temptation to call Clover or one of his past lovers surfaced, gnawing at his resolve. His villa, a sanctuary he had vowed never to taint with fleeting companionship, seemed to close in on him with every passing second.
