"Why did you bring me back here?" I asked Grandpa.
I thought for sure that Grandpa was going to tell on me. Even though he said he wouldn't. I mean, he said if I told him what I was doing out there. I hadn't peeped a word.
Still, Grandpa brought me back to his castle. He hadn't even looked inside the dungeon I left. It's very possible that Grandpa already knows about what I was doing.
Grandpa is one of the few people that are hard to read. His thoughts run a mile a minute. Plus, he figured out how to put up some kind of mental block once everyone figured out what I can do. I only wished that he would teach everyone else how to do that.
I hate hearing everyone's thoughts. It isn't exactly a likeable trait about me either. It's invasive, and I don't want to know everything all the time.
