"Hey, you ready for our briefing?" Vessa asked as she wiggled her eyebrows at me.

"Oh, I'm more than ready." I said with a laugh.

Tia finally deemed us all worthy of missions, two months ago. It was decided that Bexley, Phoenix, Vessa, Tre, and I were all ready for missions. I think after Bexley started to out smart Ambrose at every turn, Amborse finally had Tia do something.

I had to laugh at that. Bexley is the smartest person I know. She's a natural at observing, and planning. The girl acts all giggly and dumb, but it's all a part of her plan.

Which is why I picked her……
