Uncle Preston helped me get my mind right about how to be a better man for Jen. Maybe Stan would be willing to help me out. He was a really solid guy. Derrick was still in the infatuation stage with Emmalyn, but he was dedicated and strong when I met him. I’d have to figure that out.
“You’ve told me a lot about your soulmate, except what her affinity is.” Uncle Preston chuckled.
“Oh, she’s an air witch. Her specialty is Gale.” I said, proudly.
He gasped. “You… you’re matched with a Meriwether?”
“Yeah, how’d you know that?”
“They’re the only bloodline where Gale appears. No other air witch family has ever had that specialty without being the direct descendant of a Meriwether. The Meriwether line is like magical royalty. Pureblood witch.” Preston said enthusiastically.
