Just because Wednesday was my day off, didn’t mean I got a day off from training Val. He needed a lot of practice and study to get to a place where he was safe. On the bright side, Bellamy’s suggestion had helped a lot.

Having Jen over more made it easier for Val to focus. He was making great strides. Yesterday he’d been a little grumpy because I didn’t give him the same day off as Jen. Seeing her for breakfast and dinner helped, though.

I couldn’t give them the same days off. The whole point of bringing him into the shop was to keep us from getting overwhelmed while everyone else had their days off. He would be off on weekends and he just had to deal with only having one day with Jen.

After training, I cooked breakfast. Jen came in, she didn’t knock since she was always coming ……
