After dinner, I left Kinlee to watch over everyone in the apartment. Josh was still working on things, but said he’d be done before I returned and to come to his office in the morning and he’d go over everything with me. Sorrel went to check into his motel and said he’d come back in the morning to train Val.
It took a while to convince Val to stay with Jen. He wanted to come question the men, too. I couldn’t risk him getting mad and killing the men. He was too emotional. Clover agreed with me.
The drive to the supernatural side of the police station wasn’t too long. They’d added on the police station and jail back when they started locking up supernatural criminals instead of just keeping them with the humans. There were different rules for them. They didn’t get arraigned like humans did.
