To Everett Luminar, neither the members of the Whitlock Family nor the family of three including Billy Russell amounted to anything significant.
What truly mattered to Luminar were Eira Whitlock and Amelia White.
Eira was somewhat manageable, but Amelia's obvious display of disgust towards Luminar compelled him to explain, "Mom, I really did book a table at the Marriott International's sky restaurant."
"Yes, and even booked the entire sky restaurant!" Amelia retorted, clearly not believing Luminar and speaking sarcastically.
At this moment, Luminar turned to Eira, saying earnestly, "Trust me!"
For some reason, seeing Luminar's serious expression made Eira subconsciously nod and say, "I believe you!"
"You're crazy, and you're a fool!" Elizabeth Whitlock mocked, "Only a fool would believe the word……
