What Everett said to Eira wasn't romantic words, nor was it sweet nothings.
Yet Eira listened happily, a blissful smile appearing on her face.
"Hurry up and eat, or it'll get cold!" Eira urged.
Everett nodded with a smile, saying no more, and started to devour the meal his wife had prepared for him.
Ordinary people are used to home-cooked meals, or rather, most people eat at home every day, and have no special feelings about eating their wife's cooking.
However, for Everett, it was different; his experiences were far beyond what ordinary people could compare to!
Being able to eat a meal cooked by his wife was a small luxury of happiness for Everett.
Although Everett and Eira were married, when they were with Eira's mother, Amelia, it was mostly Amelia who cooked.
