I knew Angelica was a red ribbon seeker, so when the air horn blasted and they were released, I felt tension in my body that wouldn’t abate. I had been confident that my hiding place was genius before, but I was acutely aware of how easily cornered I would be up here. If one of the wolves captured me, I wouldn’t be able to overpower or outrun them without inspiring suspicion.
I could only hope that Molly had told everyone I’d be around the bridge.
After fifteen minutes of breathing as quietly as I could, I began to relax a bit- unconsciously. I mean, the game lasted until midnight. There was no way I’d be able to just tense my body and wait for four hours. After another fifteen minutes, I began to grow bored.
Trial-wise, it was a great game to play. I could see how it relat……
