So Close

Tristan's POV

I was so close to getting what I wanted....what I needed. I wanted her so badly, I want to be inside of her badly, but that has to wait. I need to just focus on this moment. Savor it. She licked her lips and they parted again. I want to suck on her lips. I wanted to make her mine, so that no one else has her. I sucked in a deep breath and I reached for a piece of orange behind her. I pulled inches away from her lips to study her face. Her eyes were on my lips.

"You're so f^cking beautiful. I never thought that you would ever occupy my mind the way that you are. I can't stop thinking about you," I rasped.

She gasped and I loved the sound of that. I moved the orange towards her lips and I squeezed, the juice dripping onto her bottom lip and into her mouth. I kept my gaze on her lips, I placed the orange back on the counter behind her and I leaned in. I was just inches away from her lips, I was going to do this.

I took the plunge and my lips barely brushed hers. "Elona, I'm home!" I pulled away from her immediately and quickly reached to the top cupboard, taking a glass out, and Elona continued with the orange. "Here you are...Tristan?" I turned around to face David, he smiled at me with confusion. I gave him a faint smile.

"I came over to chill, so I decided to wait here for you." I lied, "Elona is just making orange juice," my heart was beating at a rapid pace.

I felt like an awkward teenager. He moved to the counter and Elona turned towards me, but then the orange that she held in her hand fell on the ground, and then she bent over to pick it up. My eyes fell on her breasts that were now really threatening to spill. I could see the darkness of her areola starting to show. Blood rushed to my d^ck as I stared and as I wished that I could see more, she stood up straight and adjusted her bikini top to my disappointment.

I cleared my throat as she took the glass from me, she kept her gaze on me before turning around. "I like to see you here often. You need to get out more." David said as he sat on the barstool. Elona held out the glass of freshly squeezed juice and I took it from her before she tidied up. "So, how's work?"

"I needed a break, and the meeting went well. They are going to expand the hospital, and they will be getting more equipment. It's one thing that I'm so happy about. I am just focusing on my next venture." I replied, and I took a sip of the orange juice, which reminded me of moments ago and my gaze automatically went to Elona as she now sat beside her father. She was eating a banana. That banana. I teased her with one before.

I was happy that David couldn't see my erection earlier. It went flaccid as soon as I spoke to him. I thought that this moment would be it. The kiss...but it's like there is always something that keeps on happening in order for me not to kiss her and that frustrated me. I wanted her...I needed her. I'm going insane, and I never felt this way before.

"I'm glad," he smiled. "How's Maggie? Have you seen her again?"

I glanced at Elona briefly, her expression had changed. "I don't know. I haven't seen her since the other day and I don't plan on seeing her again." I told him. Elona seemed hopeful now.

"Tristan, you need to live a little more," he said.

"I am living," I groaned in frustration, he was beginning to sound like Cris now with the whole living life thing.

"You are not living the way that you should be. Let's go out tonight," he suggested. Elona let out a breath as she focused on her orange juice in front of her.

"I just want to chill."

"Okay. There is no use in getting you to go out." He replied before turning his attention to Elona. "So, how was school and how is your portfolio coming along?" he asked her.

"It was okay. I just have some homework to finish and Spooky was over here to do another photoshoot." that son of a b^tch is going to make me do things that I regret. I clenched my jaw. "Our portfolios are coming together well. We do want to go to the movies and do a movie theater-themed photoshoot and I think that it would be perfect. Please, allow us to go, its important for our future," she begged him, and I didn't want that to happen. Yet, I have no say in it right now.

"It is for your future, so then I give you permission to go," he smiled at her.

"Thanks, dad. I will text Spooky." she smiled. I tried to keep calm. So I gulped the rest of the juice instead. I walked to the sink and placed the empty glass inside and as I turned around, David stood up.

"I just need to make a quick call," he said.

"I will be leaving, so I will see you around," I told him as he walked away, shaking his head in disappointment. I know what he is thinking, that my chilling with him is not that long. But I had to lie, and I know that one lie leads to more.

As soon as David disappeared, Elona got up. I moved towards her as she rounded the counter and I stopped her, pushing her against the cupboard, which was a long cupboard that held cleaning materials in there. She gasped and I caged her in.

I studied her face and I licked my lips to moisten them. "You will not go with Spooky to the movie theater. You will not do modeling. I won't allow you to do that. I want to see you in that lingerie. Only me," I was stern, yet I wanted to kiss her.

"You cannot tell me what I can and cannot do. I will pursue my career and I will be friends with whom I want. You are grounding your daughter, so spooky is all that I have right now. And with regard to the lingerie...that won't happen," she swallowed, she was struggling, she wanted me too, and I would have my way with her.

"You don't know what you are doing to me, and I am not done with you. I will finish where I have left off. One way or another," her breathing increased, and I know she was feeling it...the intensity. But she did hit a nerve with me. That involved Cris. It seems like I have to un-ground my daughter.

I pulled away as much as I didn't want to. David would be in the kitchen anytime and I couldn't risk him seeing us in an inappropriate way. I was not ready to lose him yet as a friend. But I will get what I want. I forced myself to leave. I will kiss her, but now I have something to take care of.
