Aurela, who was still locked up in Lucian’s hand since he had refused to put her down, never knew someone was watching them.

Alicia, who has been crushing on Lucian for many years in the Blackthorn pack–one that even Alpha Derrick, Mia’s uncle was aware of, walked up to Aurela and Lucian and glared at them in jealousy.

Since the whole situation was already getting awkward, Aurela demanded that Lucian let her down as she blinked multiple times while she tried her best to avoid Alicia’s eyes. For a brief second, there was silence everywhere as the three of them refused to say a single word even though Alicia was expecting Lucian to say something or at least introduce her to Aurela who was already thinking of a way to excuse herself from this weird situation.
