Aurela trembled at the sight of the horses that fell dead right in front of her. She felt cold shivers run through her spine as she scratched her itchy eyes to be sure she wasn't dreaming.
Was this necessary? She thought her pack, the Moonlight pack, was bad but the Blackthorn was way worse. But why would they want her dead? Who could it be? Aurela rushed out of the stable, running as fast as her legs could carry her, she barged into the palace but couldn't find Alpha Derrick. In fear, she quickly turned to one of the guards asking where Alpha Derrick was.
“He's at the dining hall, one of the soldiers answered.
“Thank you,” as Aurela raced along the hallway, she couldn't help but believe that she could have died today. Just like that. With her baby growing inside of her, without her gett……
