Just as Alpha Aiden issued the command, Ryan signaled Mia to leave and quickly go to put some things in place.
“But Alpha, why don’t you bury–”
“Ryan!” Alpha Aiden growled as his eyes changed their colors.
“Yes, Alpha.” Ryan bowed, his fist clenched in fear.
“Please, do not make this harder for me than it already is. Do as I have commanded.” Alpha Aiden snapped, anger laced in his voice as his gaze landed on Aurela’s corpse.
“Leave!” he commanded Ryan who signaled the rest of the guards to carry the dead bodies.
And just as they had left the palace, Mia was already waiting for Ryan and the soldiers who were carrying Aurela’s body and the others.
