Just as Aurora got slapped by her mother, hot tears flowed down her cheeks instantly with her face all burning red hot. Her hand shivered against her face as she watched her mother struggle to sit up while staring at her father on his deathbed, lying lifeless beside her.
“Mo…mo…ther…” Aurora’s voice shook as she struggled to even reach out to her mother. Aurora knew the decision she had made was a wrong one, but she couldn’t think of anything else at that period.
“Why the hell would you make such a rash and stupid decision?!” Luna Kathryn asked in whispers, tears blurring her vision as they flowed down her cheeks.
Staring at Alpha Roland on the bed, his body already stiff, with white wool attached to his nose, Luna Kathryn cried her eyes out. She knew Aurora didn’t know the gravity ……
