I had the best nights sleep of my life last night, and I am so not ready to be awake. Pulling the covers over my head, I tried to go back to sleep. That's when I smelled it, or rather smelled him.
Shooting up in the bed, my eyes snapped wide open, and I looked around.
s**t, this is Ryce's room. Why am I in here? I tried to remember what the hell happened last night.
Ryce and I were alerted about a breach in the barrier. We went to investigate. Found the creepy old barn with all of the black shadows. Then that cave. I knew exactly what that cave was when I walked in.
