Seeing Avery flustered was the highlight of my day, but I was wrong. So wrong. Dax bursting into Alpha Ryce's office with a very happy Ridley behind him was much much better.
Man this is great. Dax is a hot mess. I bet he'd never been late to the Alpha's office in his life. Poor bastard better get used to it, or get Ridley to be more punctual. I doubt that will happen though.
It's very clear that things are already looking up between them. I'm so happy for my best friend. I knew she'd come tell me later all about it. Unless she's too busy with her mate that is. I had the worst time controling my laughter the whole time they were in here.
After they left, it's just Ryce and I again. I'm trying desperately to think of anything other than his large hand around throat. Then he had to bring it up!……
