At the Moonshine Pack, I was sitting in my study room going through some paper as I couldn’t sleep.

I was worried for McKenna, I don’t know why she started bleeding all of a sudden, ‘did something happen to the pup?’ I felt irritated and groaned softly, I ran my hand through my hair as I couldn’t concentrate on the paperwork also.

“Why do I have to think about this now?”

“Squeak.” The door to my study room was pushed open at the same time, Seth Adams my Beta walked in with a long face.

“Why are you here? I told you that I don’t want to see anybody.” I uttered, feeling more irritated.

I had been distressed since we returned from the hunting game and the reason was clear, ‘I lost the first place and the chance of getting a higher point.’
