“Don’t look at me like that?” I flip my hand at him.
He slowly tilts his head to the side and slowly narrows his eyes at me before his left lip lifts into a smirk.
He stalks towards me and finally stands a foot away from me.
“And just how am I looking at you?” He asks with a smirk.
“Like you want to devour me.”
He huffs, “Maybe I do,”
I stare at him before shaking my head and walking past him and into the house.
Men and their snide remarks.
“You know you don’t have to babysit me, right?” I say, standing at the foot of the stairs.
It’s the second time I am making this statement to him, and I mean it. I don’t want him to feel obligated to take care of me as if it's his job when he isn't even my friend.
“It’s not me babysitting, but doing my friend a favor. Besides, I am working from home these ……
