“What makes you think I am interested in whatever you are having? It’s probably just a lie, and you have set a trap for me. I am not coming. Forget about me coming.” I declare confidently. 

She still thinks I can easily believe her after how she continuously deceived me my whole life. 

“You are the one who needs this, not me. It’s only a matter of time before Dave finds you. If you act fast, he won’t ever come close to you, and if you delay, someone might give him another tip about your whereabouts.” She says, and I chuckle.
