Belle's POV

"I'm coming home. I'm ready to do what you said." I said gently to my dad over the phone.

I'm going home.

I'm probably getting married too. That's his plan and since it would be helping the family's company, maybe that's good. I'll be a good use there other than here, where I'm not wanted.

Maybe Jeff wants me but it's too complicated. He loves me and I love him but it's clear now that we can't work. He is not only twenty years older than I am but, he's also my best friend's dad, and finally my dad's friend. We would be going against all norms if our relationship was made public. The world will poke fingers at us till they make tiny holes and then continue till those holes are so big, that our lives will never remain the same.
