Jeff's POV

Each word felt so heavy like a whale, my heartbeat raised, and my heart thumped hard in my chest as I told Belle I was no longer interested. 

I could hear the hurt in her voice, and though I wasn't there to see her face, I could picture every damn reaction she would have had.

My head felt heavy like I was carrying the weight of the whole world on my neck. I couldn't even look at Jess and Sonia's face. I feared I would burst into tears and I didn't want that. 

"Let's go?" I asked, and then started walking off to my car.

There was nothing more to wait for. 

I've lost it all. 

Jess decided to go to the hospital and pick up Luke. He already made it clear he didn't want me around, and I wasn't even in the mood for his angered tantrum. I have my own burden to bear.
