A dilemma

Jeff's POV

"Of course, we had s*x and you obviously enjoyed it because you couldn't get my name out of your mouth!" Cecilia's earlier outburst kept ringing in my head as I sat in meeting with other stakeholders.

I couldn't concentrate and I barely heard a word. All I could think of was the mess I was in. How could I have fallen in her trap? I knew she was in love with me and I still put myself in such possible situation.

A part of me keeps telling me that it's all a lie and nothing happened as claimed by Cecilia. She's probably playing on my emotions, knowing I might consider her if I know such happened. But then, the other part of me feels she's telling the truth. It's in her wheelhouse, she's been my assistant for years and I've seen the extent she's gone to win us contracts, huge ones.
