5 - I WANT THEM FOUND!

It had been a week since the doctor had confirmed we had all been given the sleeping drug. Now it was time to find my wife and bring her home. Everyone had recovered from the incident now we needed to find out exactly who had managed to spike our drinks with that damn drug. 

I stormed down to the surveillance room. Lucian looked surprised to see me there but kept his opinions to himself. 

Good.

"Je veux que toute la surveillance remonte de la dernière fois qu'Amy était ici jusqu'à sa disparition." (I want all the surveillance brought up from when Amy was last here to when she disappeared.)

"Nous l'examinons en ce moment, Dom." (We’re looking through it right now Dom.)

“Excellent.” I said, sitting down. "Pouvons-nous continuer?" (Shall we continue?)

Christophe nodded and pressed play on the monitor. "Il semble qu'il n'y ait rien d'étrange. Chef. Amy a été son moi normal autour de nous tous. (There seems to be nothing odd. Boss. Amy has been her normal self around all of us.)

I nodded. Except for me.

We continued going through the security feed until the day before she disappeared. "Attendez une minute, mettez l'écran en pause Christophe." (Hang on a minute, pause the screen Christophe.)

"Bien sûr patron." (Sure boss.) He replied before pausing the stream.

I stared at it confused. There were guards standing around and she was with Beau. Why the hell were they together? I thought she hated his guts after getting her ass kidnapped and broguth here to me. "Savez-vous pourquoi Amy est avec Beau et où ils sont allés ce jour-là?" (Do you know why Amy is with Beau and where they went on this particular day?)

"Aucune idée, patron, mais je connais un homme qui pourrait le faire. Lyam. Il les accompagnait tous les deux ce jour-là. (No clue boss, but I know a man who might.  Lyam. He was escorting both of them that day.)

« Amenez-le ici maintenant. Je veux savoir où diable ma femme allait avec Beau. (Get him here now. I want to know where the hell my wife was going with Beau.)

"Chef." (Boss.) He said, talking into his bluetooth device. « Lyam, viens dans la salle de sécurité. Le patron veut te parler. (Lyam, come to the security room. Boss wants to talk to you.)

"En chemin." (On my way.)

We waited until a knock fell on the security room. "Entrer." (Enter.)

The door was slowly opened and Lyam walked in closing the door behind him. "Vous vouliez me parler, patron." (You wanted to talk to me, boss.)

"Je l'ai fait en effet. J'aimerais que vous regardiez ces images de plus près et que vous me disiez ce dont vous vous souvenez de cette journée. (I did indeed. I’d like you to take a closer look at this footage and tell me what you remember about that day.)

"Bien sûr patron." (Sure boss.)

He stepped forward and Christophe wound the footage back and pressed play.

He watched, nodding.  « Je me souviens bien de ce jour, patron. Amy voulait aller en ville et Beau a dit qu'il l'escorterait. (I remember that day well, boss. Amy wanted to go to town and Beau said he’d escort her.)

« Christophe a dit que tu étais là aussi ? (Christophe said that you were also there?)

« Je l'étais, patron. Beau voulait une protection supplémentaire juste au cas où il y aurait des menaces. Alors je me suis mis en avant, Éliott était aussi avec nous, patron. Nous étions tous ensemble dans la voiture. (I was, boss. Beau wanted extra protection just in case there were any threats about.  So I put myself forward, Éliott was also with us, boss. We all were in the car together.)

"Deux hommes, est-ce tout ce que toute la vie de ma femme est pour vous tous?" (Two men, is that all that all my wife’s life is to all of you?)

"Mes excuses patron, mais Beau pensait que ce serait suffisant car nous n'allions qu'en ville." (My apologies boss, but Beau thought it would be enough as we were only going into the town.)

« Et tu es allé en ville ? (And did you go into town?) I gritted out.

"Nous avons fait le patron, après qu'elle se soit arrêtée chez le patron du médecin." (We did boss after she stopped off at the doctor's boss.)

"Pourquoi diable irait-elle chez un médecin local alors que nous avons un médecin de famille ici?" (Why the hell would she go to a local doctor when we have a family doctor here?)

"Je ne suis pas sûr, patron, peut-être qu'elle ne se sentait pas assez en sécurité pour discuter de ce qu'elle voulait avec notre médecin de famille, même s'il y a une question de confidentialité entre le patient et le médecin." (I’m not sure, boss, maybe she didn’t feel safe enough to discuss what she wanted to with our family doctor even if there is a patient and doctor privacy thing.)

« Confidentialité des patients ? » (Patient confidentiality?)

« Ouais ça. Peut-être pensait-elle qu'elle pouvait faire davantage confiance à un médecin extérieur pour discuter de tout ce dont elle voulait discuter. (Yeah that. Maybe she thought she could trust an outside doctor more to discuss whatever she wanted to discuss.)

« Alors, après les médecins, tu es allé en ville ? (So, after the doctors did you go to the town?)
