We are all sitting in the lounge on the ground floor of the pack house. Amanda is bringing a continuous stream of snacks and drinks, anything to keep busy.
I am sitting with Sophia and Nat, doing everything I can to keep them both calm.
Fergus and Aaron, my father’s men who stayed behind with their new mates, have joined us as we waited. They are both pacing and I can feel their guilt for not being with their Alpha.
Ash is also pacing, and I know he is torn between staying by my side and going to help his brothers. I stood and walked towards him. He opens his arms to me with a grin. “You okay angel? They will be fine. We would both know if they weren’t.” I rubbed his back soothingly.
Jumping out of my skin when his phone rings, making him chuckle. He answers and a smile spreads acro……
