My mother was Italian, and my father was a half-American with a history of Italian blood. That is where the Maverick name comes from and why. A lot does not accept me as the Godfather of the Italian Mafia. They do not believe that I am full-blooded Italian, but I am more Italian than most of them, as many Italians in the Italian Mafia have mixed blood. I do not care what they say.
