As soon as the phone sound of the phone dropping is heard, Knox is instantly by my side.

He picks up the phone for me and puts it back in my hands.

“ Kali!”

“ Kali!” August shouts over the phone.

Knox nudges my shoulder and that snaps me out of my shock.

I put the phone to my ear, “What do you mean?”

“ She tried to take it out and that made her lose a lot of blood. She was almost dying, but after I took her to my pack, the doctor was able to take care of her and save the baby too.”

“ Thank goodness the baby was saved. Her memory, but how did she lose it?”

“ I think it's from the shock she received in her life. She has been through a lot of trauma it is only natural for her brain to erase all the memories from before.” August answers and it's logical.
