It was better than I had ever hoped for. For the first few years of the pups life, they just have to spend three weeks in Belgium every year. That’s not bad at all! And I’m being given plenty of assistance in raising the pups, too. Although I’m warned that the reasoning behind that generosity is to make absolutely certain that I follow the treaty. That I don’t abscond with the pups, or run away and hide if I’m required to take over as the ruling monarch of Belgium.
Leo claims that the likelihood of me becoming the ruling Monarch of Belgium is very slight, as the council would have to agree to a young inexperienced American, especially one whose fated mate is also American. There are other options, such as Marcell’s sister. But hopefully Kathleen will continue to live……
