Tara’s POV

“You think I’m beautiful?” I ask, just a little shocked, as well as pleased. He hadn’t ever said anything like that before, except during s*x. I didn’t figure that counted, since guys will say all sorts of stuff to get laid.

Nobody else had ever called me beautiful before, except perhaps my dad, and he’s definitely biased. Everyone else seems to ignore the shy weird girl with the odd colored hair and freckles, who likes kickboxing and yoga and hanging out with other weird girls and her cat.

Devon gives me that amazing panty dropping smile of his again, and whispers in my ear. “You are more than just beautiful in my eyes. You are perfect!”

Oh my! I just want to melt in his arms right here, right now! Except our food suddenly arrives, and I’m hungry. And it smells so di……
