Rosalia’s POV:
I keep watching, my attention hooked on the girl standing in front of me where seconds ago there had been a wolf. Looking at her, I see the cherry-red of my ruptured childhood that I used to know as well as myself. “Hey Han, long time no see,” I say to break the silence in the room.
She gives me a broad grin, her emerald eyes alight with mischief. “Been a while, old friend. Thought you’d have forgotten about me by now.” She jokes and I give her a wounded expression. “Bet you didn’t know what I was, did you?” She asks, but the tone isn’t gloating. More like sad. “I’m sorry I never told you. I wanted to - like really badly sometimes - but it just would have complicated things. I’m sorry.”
I walk over towards her slightly, and she meets me halfway. “It’s oka……
