My heart felt pained. The lyrics were so intimate, they sounded so pained, or maybe it was just her beautiful voice and then my heart clutched as my brain tried to understand, questions filled my mind, setting it on fire... and doubt lingered in the back of my mind...

Who was she singing this for? Did she have a mate before me? ...

My thoughts were soon chased away as her sweet voice stopped singing and silence filled the space once more. She turned around and looked at us.

I couldn't see her face clearly, her brothers stood in the way.

I gave them some space and just stood aside, observing their exchange. I didn't miss her flinching when Damian hugged her, but she was putting on her brave face and trying hard to reassure her brothers that she was fine.
