I watch Emerald leave as I stand shell shocked. What did I just do?

‘You put an asshole in his place’ Bodhi sneers.

‘But at what cost Bodhi’

I realise that Nova and Raven are both staring at me.

“I’m going to head inside and grab a shower before breakfast,” I gesture to the pack house.

“Me too,” Nova says and begins walking that way.

“I’ll see you at breakfast then,” Raven says with a wink.

“You haven’t introduced me to these two young ladies Arlo,” Mr Archibald says as we join the breakfast table.

“Sorry sir, this is Nova.” I gesture to Nova on my left side. “And this is Raven,” I gesture to her on my right side. Then I sigh at the fact I am sat between them.

“It’s nice to meet you both,” he says with a mischievous grin. “Are either of you young Arlo’s girlfriend?”
