I'm going out for a while!" Samirah announced into the kitchen.
Aunt Iris was cleaning up the kitchen so she merely nodded, "Be careful."
"Don't make dinner. I'll get some pizza."
"Sure, take some money from your uncle if you need."
Samirah was already putting on her shoes by the door. She replied that she didn't need any and left the door. Since she was meeting Alan, she naturally had to get the most out of it.
The pizza place was a ten minute walk from home. Alan, Thea and Samirah often met there because they didn't have a job and a pizza was the one thing they could afford to eat whenever they wanted to go out.
Samirah was wearing loose fit jeans and an off-white sweater to warm up in the cold weather. It was freezing outside in December. Thankfully, werewolves had a high internal temperature……
