Kian took the two lunch boxes from her hand and put them on the coffee table by the window. The office was glossy and clean, that was Samirah's first impression. The chairs were white while the main desk and coffee table, even the two pots of plants were black.
Samirah looked down at the glistening floor and smiled. Why was it shining? It had marble patterns on it as well. Very expensive.
"You must be tired, come sit," Kian took her hand and led her to the couch. It was a small couch with coffee table by the window for quick relaxation. The floor to ceiling length window gave a beautiful view.
"I asked Gabriel to get me some coffee."
"Aren't you having lunch with me?"
"I'll just have a sip. I want to see what type of coffee you have in your office."
