Lynnsey's light tone and calm look on her face contrasted sharply with Cain's rage. The air got tense because of their argument, and some employees who passed by didn't even dare to make a sound.
Lynnsey stepped forward and continued, "You don't want to see me here, right?"
Cain snorted, "Ever since you set the fire four years ago, you are not my daughter anymore."
"What if I tell you that it wasn't me who set the fire?"
"Even if it wasn't you, you started it." Cain's face darkened as he said with a cold look in his eyes, "You shouldn't have come back."
"Oh, I see." Lynnsey flashed a fake smile as she spoke.
