Lynnsey parked the car in front of the villa. Before getting out, she saw Joel Maher standing outside the fence, and then saw Spike standing next to Joel Maher.
Her crimson lips pursed, and she pushed open the car door.

Spike stood in place, shuffling his feet, his big watery eyes filled with caution.
Every time they met in the past, this little guy would pounce on her.
