“Oh my god,” I breathed. “I can’t believe we made it.”
“For f**k’s sake, Emma, my driving isn’t that bad,” Val said exasperatedly.
Amy and I gave her the most disbelieving looks we could both muster. She glared and slammed her car door shut a little harder than was necessary.
Oh, well.
The three of us turned around, almost creepily in sync, and stared at the massive fraternity house a few feet away from us.
“Are you sure this is the right place?” Amy wondered. “It’d be awkward if we just marched into this obviously wealthy home and—“
“It’s the right place,” Valerie said. “I followed GPS.”
Amy looked at me for reassurance. I just shrugged. Val seemed confident enough.
