The night air was thick with tension as I approached Jayden's chambers. My mind raced with the images of the brutal fight between him and Evan, and the questions burned in my chest like a raging fire. I had to know why they had fought so fiercely. What could have driven Jayden, who was usually so composed, to such violence?

I knocked on the door with urgency. "Jayden, it's Aliya. Let me in."

There was no response. My heart pounded harder, and I knocked again, more forcefully. "Jayden, please. I need to talk to you."
