THE PAST
(Author's POV)
The days leading up to the invasion were a bit of a blur for Benjamin as preparations were hastily made and even more preparations were sped up in order to secure the escape route for his family. All of the soldiers were pulled from the borders to form a last line of defense in the main pack and he basically abandoned any plans of a counter attack. All he aims to do is defend as hard as he can until he either died or fell with his army.
A knock on the door roused his attention and he closed his eyes as he thought about the amount of bloodshed that was going to take place within the palace, all caused by him.
"Come in," he said eventually as he opened his eyes.
A guard walked in and bowed.
"The elders have arrived, Alpha."
He nodded to that and let out a sigh.
"I will be out……
