Colin walks away, looking disappointed. What did he expect? Did he expect that somebody like Valerie would fall for him? He tried to trick her into marrying him by asking her to marry him in front of many people. I will never do that to a woman. I will never put her on the spot like that, especially if you are unsure how she feels about you. I know she will feel like she has no choice but to say yes. She will not want to put any man in the position of feeling humiliated when she says no. Only cowards will do something like that. Of course, I do not talk about people genuinely in love and know that their woman will say yes when he asks her to marry him. Then, it's a different scenario. It can be very romantic.

I will ask her to marry me privately if I am unsure about her……
