The Funeral

Please remember to #vote# for HLQ wonderful readers. This funeral was very hard to write. Especially after experiencing my own cousin's death. And i didn't realize it at the time but i had subconsciously pulled inspiration from his own life because he's also in the army and has three childre. It feels odd like a premonition or writing it made it happen. I'm mentally quite upset. it is quite disturbing that the death was of my own cousin who I'd modeled this fallen soldier's family after. The only difference is that in real life he has 3 sons and the oldest is 5. His widow is only 29. There is an odd sense of blame i feel on my shoulders however irrational it may sound. This funeral scene was written out way before he died and it was so hard to revisit this and spot the glaring similarities. Thank you for your kind support and condolences.
