Sierra's POV
My mom put her arms around Andrea, and we all sat in the living room. Brooklyn smiled and swished her tail as she watched the three of them together again.
"Have you ever seen her so happy?" Brooklyn asked.
"I don't even think she was this happen when we told her she was going to be a grandmother," I replied.
"So, I don't understand," my mom began, holding Andrea's hands in hers. "Your spell broke, and the alarms went off; you told me the only way that could happen was if you died."
"I know, which was true. I was at home with Adam when our alarms started going off, indicating Mathew and Brad had gotten through my defenses. When I got downstairs, they had Adam unconscious, and the dark witch they used was threatening to kill him. Brad demanded to know wh……
