Sierra's POV
Lying on the floor, still covering my eyes, everyone around me was talking simultaneously. They asked if I was alright, if the baby was alright, if anything had happened to me, and how Evangeline had sent me where she had. Their voices were ear-piercing, resonating in my brain loudly, overwhelming me, and causing tears to fall and run into my hair. I knew they were just worried about me, but the effects of what had just happened with Mathew were still heavy in my mind. That was the first time in my life someone had tried to... Finishing that thought was too painful.
"Aaron," I said softly in his head, trying to let him know everyone needed to shut up now.
"Okay, everyone, enough with the questions. Give her some time to relax and adjust to what happened," he ……
