Blank Letter.
"Ohhh… that…" I mumbled, hesitating as I slowly pulled my hand away from my dad’s grasp. A strange feeling weighed down my chest, a mix of uncertainty and unease clawing at the edges of my mind. My fingers twitched slightly as I turned away, my gaze locking onto the small wooden side table where the black envelope sat, untouched yet exuding an ominous presence.
I hesitated, my feet feeling like they were rooted to the ground. The moment felt heavier than it should have like that simple envelope contained something far more than just paper. My stomach churned with unease.
