Another Crazy Morning.
I stood on the sidewalk of the main road, a chilly breeze brushing against my skin as I stared down in disbelief at my feet.
Two different flip-flops.
One pink, one brown.
And worse, one of them was facing the wrong way.
I blinked, processing my own ridiculousness.
“Diana… how did you even manage this?” I muttered under my breath, shifting uncomfortably.
As if the universe wanted to add insult to injury, I suddenly noticed something else. My coat. It felt… weird.
I grabbed at the hem, pulling it slightly forward, and my stomach dropped.
It was inside out.
“Oh, come on,” I groaned, exasperated.
The ugly, wrinkled lining was completely exposed, the tags hanging awkwardly by my side. I probably looked like someone who had slee……
