The system doesn’t need opposition to assert its power.Simply slowing things down is enough.
This chapter has no punishments.
Only very small adjustments—but enough for a person to begin to feel that they are no longer as smooth as before.
When behavior produces unexpected effects,optimization will appear to pull things back on track.
The problem isn’t being f*******n.
It’s being rebalanced step by step.
And once rebalanced,every subsequent choice becomes heavier.
