Algorithms don’t forbid joy.
They only re-evaluate what they’ve been taught is valuable.
This chapter isn’t about a great victory.
It only shows something very small but very important:
Genuine feedback—not necessarily data—can still be recognized by algorithms.
A game of chess, a laugh, a repetition of a name…
none of these are “optimal connections” according to the model.
But they shift the data slightly.
And that—is not the power of the algorithm.
It’s the power of real, living human beings.
No data,
just selected feedback.
And that tiny thing—changed a number in the world of modeling.
