This party chapter was so much fun to write! The chandelier incident with Julian is peak dramatic prince behavior—turning a potential assassination attempt into theater. I love how he refuses to take anything seriously, even mortal danger. Alexander’s confrontation with Isabella on the balcony is where things start getting really intense. He’s clearly figured out that she’s not what she seems, but he doesn’t know the full truth yet. That combination of attraction and suspicion makes him incredibly dangerous. And the note pinned to her dress? Absolutely chilling. Someone got close enough to touch her without her knowing, which means they’re escalating. The fake relationship with Nick is providing some protection, but it’s also making her more visible, which comes with its own risks.
