Seraphina has talked to the dead. She had a gift, though she never called it that. It all started one day after high school. She had been walking home, her arms full of thick books, when she got hit by a car. It messed her up pretty badly. Later that night as she lay in the hospital with a broken leg, she had dreamed that her Aunt Evelyn had died. When she woke up, she knew that it was true. She called her mother and told her about the dream. Her mother Carol cried and told her she was right, but they didn't want to tell her with her recent injuries. It was
like this as she had matured into a young adult. She got messages from the dead now. It was difficult for her to get close to anyone, once they found out her secret, they didn't stick around. Until she met Landen. Landen was different. He accepted her condition because he was half Irish and his mother was fairly psychic, only they called it being a bit fey. He didn't even bat an eye to Seraphina's visions. He would come to be her best friend. When she learned that her friend Landen's life was in danger, after having a vision that showed him being brutally murdered. Seraphina must learn to trusted her gut. Something told her that she could alter the events of Landen's death- some how, and save his life. She looks for a way out of the vision and tries to find Landen's killer, before the killer finds him. Her gift may cost Seraphina her own life. She turns to her former high school crush, now a police detective- Jason Blaze for help. He ends up falling for the beautiful psychic, only when he sees Seraphina's abilities, will he believe her now?
